Liao Wen-he is a puppetry master from Erlun, who inherited authentic skills from the national treasure-level master of puppetry, Mr. Huang Hai-dai (黃海岱). He has long been devoted to promoting, educating, and passing on the art of puppetry, teaching it in schools, communities, and elsewhere, hoping to continue this valuable traditional craft. In 2021, he received the "Art Education Contribution Award"(藝術教育貢獻獎).
二崙在地的布袋戲匠人，師承布袋戲國寶級大師黃海岱先生。廖文和先生長期致力於布袋戲的推廣、教育與傳承，在校園、社區等地教導大家布袋戲，期望能將這項寶貴的傳統技藝延續下去，更在民國110年獲得了「藝術教育貢獻獎」。
"In 1976, Mr. Liao established the "Liao Wen-he Puppet Show Troupe" (廖文和布袋戲團), which not only participated in local drama competitions but also taught apprentices his handcraft techniques and led them to perform throughout the country. His performances are lively and exquisite, and his voice can change into more than 20 different character tones; his unique skills bring the puppets to present diverse and vivid movements.
民國65年「廖文和布袋戲團」成立，除了參與地方戲劇比賽也教導學徒，並到各地演出。廖文和先生的表演生動精緻口白多變，聲音可以變化成二十多種人物的聲調，將布偶演繹得栩栩如生。
He continuously pursues innovation in his performances, introducing the giant "Xian" puppet (仙戲偶) and scenery to audiences in the country and following the times to improve his performance methods. In addition, Mr. Liao not only devotes himself to the inheritance and promotion of puppetry skills but also spares no effort in reviving and inheriting the Zhao-An Hakka language (詔安客語) and culture. He has repeatedly performed puppetry in the Zhao-An Hakka language, combining Taiwanese traditional culture with Zhao-An Hakka culture to promote its development. He has served on international stages several times.
在演出的方面也不斷追求創新，首創了全國最大仙戲偶與布景，並跟隨時代改良演出方式。此外，廖文和先生不但致力於布袋戲的技藝傳承和推廣，也對詔安客語的復甦與文化傳承不遺餘力，多次以詔安客語演出布袋戲，將臺灣傳統文化與詔安客文化結合發揚光大，並多次登上國際舞台。
